In Souichi's Diary of Curses, "Rumors" ends with Souichi being cornered by Fuchi-chan (I really love her!) who wants to eat him for taking her photo without permission. The final chapter is also about Fuchi, and it looks very much like we're supposed to interpret she did eat him - Midori, who was there with Souichi at the end of "Rumors" says that she doesn't know what happened to him.
However, by the time of "Secret of the Haunted Mansion"/"The Souichi Front", Souichi is alive and he and Fuchi are married with a son. Since that turned out to be Souichi's dream, it's possible this future timeline isn't real or won't happen. But for him to dream about her as his wife, that means there are only three possibilities: he escaped from her after "Rumors", his dream was a premonition of sorts that took place before he met her (and thus, is set somewhere between chapters 3-4 of Diary of Curses) or the Souichi Diaries are not in continuity with Haunted Mansion/Souichi Front ... Thoughts?
